Rich Dome is the Sr. Director of Partnerships at Local Wisdom, with a proven track record of building and maintaining profitable and loyal relationships. Starting from scratch as a local Philadelphia newspaper salesboy, and going on to help sign and manage multimillion-dollar contracts and accounts, Rich has made a name for himself as a force in sales.
For over a decade, Rich served nearly 60% of the domestic movie theater market as a strategic Senior Account Manager with Fandango, a division of NBCUniversal. He has also been a Regional Marketing Manager with both Regal and AMC Theatres, sold technology services to movie theater chains across North America at Influx Worldwide, and held sales roles at Human Resource Executive and JKL Web Technologies.
His interest in entertainment runs deep: Rich was cast as one of the original live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, delivering more than 200 live stage performances across the United States over eight years. Off stage, he's a foodie and a sports fanatic, and he earned a BA in English from Kutztown University.
Communicators have to influence constantly, and were almost never trained to. Pinaki Kathiari and Rich Dome hand over six counter-intuitive tips that salespeople actually use — don't start by selling, get to a "no" quickly, be mildly unavailable — and attendees leave with a written plan for a real pitch they need to make.
Migrating an intranet is moving house — and most communications teams do it once in a career, with thousands of pages at stake. Dan Spedaliere and Rich Dome walk through the five stages of a real migration and what to decide at each one, including the numbers teams consistently get wrong.

Rich brings a salesperson's playbook to rooms that have to win buy-in — communicators, marketers, business owners and students. Get in touch to discuss availability for your conference.
